Your presentation was amazing! You set the bar really high, and I hope that Graham and I lived up to the expectation. You were well paced, and you had time to clearly explain everything. The music, videos, and art went perfectly with your topics, and I loved the rotating pictures. You all spoke very well, and it was clear you knew what you were talking about. The post secrets in the back added to the presentation and made it even more interesting. I loved the spy video. Maria, your personal was so sweet; you and Isabella looked so cute. Rebecca, your personal looked really good; I loved how you incorporated all of your own pictures with your art connections to create the picture. Erin, your personal was so creative; I loved your story, and I cannot wait to read the whole thing. The "Top Secret" envelopes were a great idea, and I'm trying to decode it right now. I loved how Michael Lituchy played the piano in the beginning; it created a nice beginning. You did really well, and I know you worked really hard. It all paid off, and I know that everyone loved it!

Hey guys... awesome job today! You were incredibly brave to go first and it definitely paid off because now the rest of us are all jealous that you're done. Months ago, as soon as I learned what you're topic was I couldn't wait fto see your presentation. Secrecy is a great topic! As Jamie said, you three set the bar quite high for the rest of us. You're presentation was perfectly organized and timed in addition to being lively and interesting to watch. I especially loved your opening video; watching you guys dart around the hallway like spies was pretty entertaining for me. I think it's good to make your audience laugh in the very beginning because it gets them more alert and excited for what will come next. I also loved all three of the personals. I was really able to relate to Maria's because I have the same connection with my sisters. I liked Erin's joke about "seeing past her blonde hair" when she showed the audience a side of her that noone normally gets to see. Rebecca's was incredibly creative. I am dying to know how you made all those pictures becomes one big one.. it looked very artsy and so professional! I also loved the post secrets you had on the back wall. The man who created that website is a genius because there are millions of people who always need to get things off their chest but don't really know how. I think this aspect really added to the uniqueness of your presentation. Congratulations on an awesome job!

Rebecca, Maria, and Erin amazing job today! As the first group to go you guys set the bar extremely high for the experimentals to follow. You all spoke very clearly and it was so easy to understand everything you were saying. My favorite thing that you talked about was the code with the mod math formula. The fact that this is used in war for "secret" messages and communication was very very cool. Another thing I really enjoyed about your presentation was the animation and use of technology, it all looked so professional and well done.
As for personals, I thought each one of yours was truely individual and spoke for all of your "secrets". Rebecca, your photograph with other photographs was simply amazing and well organized! I remember seeing you with a camera and wondering why you were taking random pictures of people's mouths and ears. But, very well done. Maria, I can totally relate to your personal because I feel the same was as you do about my sister becuase I can tell her everything. Erin, I know you as a happy, optimistic person so I really thought it was excellent how you showed us a seceret side to yourself. I loved the part of the book that you read to us and I wish you luck with the rest of your book.
Decoration wise, I loved the whole art and photo gallery in the back of the room with the blacked out windows- it was really nice. I also loved the postsceret and the "Top Secret" envelope! Great job guys!

Hi Erin, Rebecca, and Maria,
Your experimental was really amazing! So brave to be the first ones! The technology you guys displayed kept your viewers amazed at every slide. By placing the music behind slides where pictures were displayed, helped us be entertained while viewing the perfect art pieces to support your topic. Maria, your personal was so cute as Jamie had pointed out, and really helped display how secrets do not need to affect every relationship. Rebecca, your piece of art was truly amazing! I loved how you managed to create the image of the finger and lips to support the "secret," theme while also combining it with other amazing pictures. Erin, every time I hear your short story I am amazed. It is so great and the emotions created in it helped support your secret topic, as well as keeping the viewer captivated. Like Jamie had also pointed out, I love how you had invited Michael Litutchy to come and sing for everyone, it helped create something extra special at the beginning, to start off a truly great topic! I also liked how you guys finished with plenty of time so that we could look around and enjoy all of your decorations. The "top secret," envelopes were a great idea to keep your experimental going beyond the presentation. Your experimental definitely set the bar high for all the presentations to come! Congrats on finishing!

Hey Erin, Rebecca, and Maria.
Awesome job on your experimental today. It was really informative and interesting. I love how in the beginning, you asked Michael Lituchy to come play Secrets by OneRepublic for you. I also loved the post secrets you displayed in the back of the room. They reflected your topic very well. I really like the smooth transitions you had in your keynote presentation. In addition, the flipping of the pictures, in a montage like way, within each slide was very well done. I really liked all the paintings you picked, especially "The Lovers" by Rene Magritte. It displayed secret love and hidden affairs very well. Rebecca, your personal was so well done! I'm still shocked by your talent and am still trying to figure out how you did that! Listening to Erin's story this second time didn't make it any less thrilling. I was still shocked by the talent of her writing. I could relate to Maria's personal, because I know what it is like to have a sibling you are so close with. Your montage was very well done. All of your personals were certainly memorable. Congrats to all three of you. It was very well done!

Rebecca, Erin, and Maria:
Your bravery to be the first presenters and your setting the bar so high certainly paid off! The envelopes and secret postcards were a brilliant way of getting the audience involved and feeling as if they were really part of some big secret--I know I certainly did while wondering what was inside the envelope! I loved the wide contrast between each of your personals--you each related it to something very different from one another, yet each of them connected to Secrecy well and were very eye-opening!
I especially loved the cool secret pictures on the back windowsill--they were all so unique and interesting!
The artwork and music you incorporated into your presentation really enhanced it, too!
Congratulations--you did an amazing job and set the standards so high!

Let me begin by saying what a marvelous beginning to the experimental season. Your experimental was well planned and you definitely knew a great deal of information about the various disciples behind secrecy. I really enjoyed hearing Erin reading that story. What a marvelous idea for a personal and what a captivating piece of literature too. If only I could have been part of the creation process. I am sure the ending, last 3.5 pages, of the piece are excellent and I can’t wait to read them. I loved your entire group’s division of the public speaking and your presenting ability was definitely beyond par. You girls incorporated enough music and media clips to keep the audience fascinated and focused throughout the presentation. One of the most creative aspects of your experimental was your usage of props and decorations. The post secrets montage on the back wall was unique and the ability for the audience to join with this organization was a well executed and thought out idea. One of the most memorable parts would have to be when the sound went really high as you switched slides. My ears began to bleed but Rebecca’s recovery was a great one second comment which got the entire audience to have a good laugh. During the personals I was very touched by Maria’s in particular. This was a very creative personal and I am amazed by how similar you and your sister are. Mike Lituchy has great musical gifts so incorporating him into your presentation was also a good idea. I am currently more distracted with creating my post secret post card than I am with my own experimental coming up very soon. As a whole, you guys definitely put in a great deal of effort and it was quite visible. You worked hard and you all should be proud of your work. What a great first presentation; the standards have been set high.

You all did a phenomenal job. The presentation flowed so well especially with the rotating pictures on some of the slides. One of my favorite parts was when Maria explained the math of Caesar's military code on the whiteboard. It helped the audience fully understand the topic. The secret handshakes at the beginning created an exciting atmosphere that grasped our attention, getting us interested immediately. The original spy video was very clever along with the video montage of clips from spy movies. The display along the back window with all of the "Post Secret" postcards was a fantastic decoration piece. Erin's cynical writing in her personal came as a shock to me and I assume to many of the other audience members as well. It was written at a literary level most of us can only dream of attaining. Rebecca, your photograph collage looked amazing. I didn't even realize the individual photographs that made up the larger image until I saw it up close. The secret that the small pictures were part of something more was exemplified perfectly in the collage. Congratulations to you three on a superb job!

Hey guys,
To start off I just wanted to say, as soon as I walked into the room, i knew your experimental was going to be great. The room was wonderfully decorated and I loved how you guys started off with Michael playing the piano! Your wonderful energy and excited vibe got everyone in the audience's attention easily. (even though it was early in the morning.) Like Sam said, you guys definitely set the bar high for all the Experimentals to follow. All of your personals were great in their own way and you all did a superb job of comparing them to your topic. I loved the video in the beginning also, very unique. :) You did an amazing job and deserve all the congratulations you guys get. I hope all of you had as much fun making it as everyone did watching it!

Erin, Rebecca, and Maria~
Like other people already said, I give you guys SO much credit to be the first ones! For having less time than almost everyone else to prepare, no one would have ever known. It was so creative to have Michael play the piano in the beginning as everyone was walking in because it really set the tone for your great experimental that was about to come. The secret handshake was also such a clever way to begin. It seemed pretty long, I was impressed! I loved the way Maria used the board to explain the math code because it brought the audiences' attention to something other than the screens in the front. Another thing that really stood out to me were all the pieces of artwork you guys chose to incorporate. My favorite painting was the one with the women, some were in masks and some weren't and how you said the ones with the masks were keeping their identity a secret while the others were flaunting it. All the connections with the artwork were well thought out and developed, and very clear and comprehendible for the audience. Another aspect that made your experimental unique was the way each of your personals contrasted and brought something different to the presentation. Maria's was uplifting, while Erin's was dark, and Rebecca's photography was mind-blowing and extremely impressive. Finally, the envelopes under the seats was so cute! You guys did a great job explaining the organization and it seems like a really cool thing to do. Each of you set the bar very high for everyone to follow, amazing job guys!

WOW! I truly commend you on being the first of the experimentals! You definitely set the bar for all the others and I'm so happy I was able to see it. The creativity of the "espionage" video in the beginning was cute and still related to your topic. I liked all the examples you used and the variety you included from all the different disciplines. Your personals were all great! Rebecca, I was so impressed with your photograph collage. I had no idea you were so talented and I definitely thought it was a great way to show how your topic related to you. Maria, I could tell your personal meant a lot to you and I thought it was great to connect your topic to your sister! Erin, I had heard of your amazing writing skills and was so glad I got to hear you read! All three of your personals truly inspired me! Overall, you did a flawless job and I'm so happy I was able to see it!

Great job guys! Your opening and decorations were amazing. I like how you guys incorporated James Bond scenes in your video. The secrets in the back were funny too. Got to say all your personals were touching and mind blowing. It was interesting to see how close you are to your sister Maria and Rebecca your picture was awesome. Using famous paintings and pieces of art to form a person putting their finger over their mouth is unbelievable. Erin I love your story considering I helped make it and to me it's not a secret. You guys paced yourself wonderfully and looked at the crowd as you spoke. You guys did such a wondeful job and I know it must've been tough going first, but you should know you helped out my experimental group tremendously. Through watching your's, our group was able to learn how much information and slides we should include in our experimental. You guys also showed us how to effectively pace ourselves. Thank you so much and again congratulations on your job well done.

What a great way to start off the experimentals! The secret envelopes under the seats was a brilliant idea in my opinion, and if it were me, I wouldn't even have thought of that. (I opened my envelope before it started by the way = P). The decorations were great too. Your presentation was a great inspiration for us all, and you guys didn't even look nervous although secrecy was the first experimental. The "secret" handshake at the beginning was beyond creative as well. It was a great pleasure in having the privilege to see it.

Being the first group to present definitely was not easy! I give you all a lot of credit! All three of you, however, seemed so prepared and comfortable with your topic. I loved the topic of secrecy because it is something we can all relate to, but also a topic that we can learn more about. You all really showed a great understanding of this topic! Just to start off, I loved your slides in the presentation, especially the transitions! In terms of personals, all three of you were great! Erin, obviously your short story was amazing! Maria, how you explained and showed your relationship with your sister was a beautiful thing that many of us, such as myself, were able to relate to. Secrecy is definitely a big part of all relationships! Rebecca, your piece of artwork absolutely took my breath away! I never knew you were into photography, but this picture was fantastic! I liked how you introduced it with comparing your sisters' talents to your own. This reminded me of Jamie's personal in Expectations. I liked the way you began your presentation with the secret handshakes the three of you portrayed. That was a cute and interesting way to grab the audience's attention. The post-secret postcards under the seats were a great idea as well! I loved how you decided to hang some examples up in the back of the room. That was a great decoration! Overall, Maria, Erin, and Rebecca, you all did a fantastic job! It was a wonderful first presentation and got me excited to see the rest! Congratulations!

Great Job Guys! You really did set the standards high for the rest of us! I was a little late for the beginning of your presentation but I really wished I could have seen it, I heard great things about it. When i walked in the room was decorated amazing! You all seemed very comfortable in front of everyone and knew perfectly what you were talking about. I really loved your transitions. Just the fact that everything was changing all the time kept me very interested and stuck to the screen and you. I might come to guys this week to ask you about some of the transitions :). They were really great. Maria, I really liked how you used the white board. The fact that you changed what we were looking at kept everyone, yet again, interested and attentive. My favorite part was no doubt your personals though. Maria, I thought your presentation about your sister was adorable. I love the fact how you both are so close! Rebecca, your photography was amazing! I'm still wondering how you made that amazing picture out of all the little ones. It took me a second to figure it out, which was the best part about it because when I did I was amazed! Erin, I loved yours too. The first time you read that novel I was sucked in right from the beginning. There was such a build of suspense! I was so especially happy when you re-read a section of the novel. The envelopes under the seat was great too! I made the audience so interactive and fun! Overall, you guys did a great job on your presentation! Congratulations!

Maria, Erin, and Rebecca~
You're presentation was seriously incredible! I have been looking forward for this presentation for a while because I find the topic so interesting. As everyone else said, I give you so much credit for going first. That was definitely not an easy task, but you guys seemed to handle it with ease and your experimental came out great. I am impressed with the way you connected this topic to each subject. I especially liked the math part, which was great because you actually explained it to us using the white board. I also loved the post secret. That was such a good idea! Each of your personals were so creative and showed your talents. Rebecca- I absolutely loved your poster. I think it is so cool and I can't even imagine how much time it took you. I have always wondered how people make those photo collages and can't believe how amazing yours was. I don't know if you saw the yearbook cover yet, but it is also a bunch of small pictures that make up a bigger picture! Maria- The way you tied in secrecy to your own relationship with your sister was extremely good. I loved how the imovie with photos and music was playing in the background as you spoke. It really added a lot to the effect. Also, I liked your personal because I felt like I could relate to it. I have two sisters with whom I share most of my secrets. Erin- as I'm sure you already know, I love the artifact fiction piece that you wrote. It is truly remarkable. Hearing it for a second time just reminded me of how you are such a great writer and also that your writing is much different then the way you come across as a person, as you said in your experimental. All together, you guys did a phenomenal job and really set the bar high for everyone yet to present! Congrats!!

Hey Erin, Rebecca, and Maria.

Like everyone else, I congratulate your bravery by being the first group to present. I cannot even imagine my group presenting that early! You three clearly showed the discipline to finish all of your work before most people had.

I was also impressed by the coordination of the introduction and Michael Lituchy's piano playing. The opening montage was a very clever use of the theme of secret agents. The use of the white board was really a great idea, since it helped people to visualize the Caesar Cipher much more easily. And of course, the envelope with the secret message was a great touch at the end.

Congratulations on a job well done!

Erin, Maria, and Rebecca-
I was instantly intrigued when I heard the topic you three had chosen: Secrecy. We are surrounded by secrets everyday of our lives and we all know we have many of our own. But my main question was: Do secrets define who we are? Thanks to your brilliant presentation, I was able to say that secrets might define the way we look at ourselves but since no one else knows that we are hiding, the way other people view us is utterly different. All of your personals were incredible, Rebecca that photo with photos inside really do show a hidden secret and Erin your story was incredible! Also having two sisters, I was able to relate to your personal Maria because I know as you do, we share a secret bond with our family that no one else can ever understand. After leaving your experimental, I was so intrigued in the secret postcards that you send in- I immediately looked the website up and became addicted. I was completely fascinated with the cleverness of this entire program and I couldn't wait to send in my own secret.
You guys were extremely brave being the first experimental presented and I think we can all say that you guys really started 2011 experimentals on a high note with big shoes to fill and definitely a perfect presentation we were all able to learn and take notes from to present our own. Congratulations! Amazing job!

Maria, Erin, Rebecca.

Amazing job with your presentation. You were the first group to present, and you set the bar extremely high. I know that my group would not have been able to go first. From the start, I knew secrecy was going to be a very interesting topic, but you went way past my expectations. All of you were very relaxed, and it was clear that you knew what you were talking about. I really liked the secret handshake at the beginning of your presentation. This was a very interesting way to start. This inspired my group to put a skit into our experimental. You were able to connect secrecy to nearly all aspects of life. Your connections to art were amazing. You clearly explained your views on the artwork and the secrets contained in these pieces. Your decorations were also amazing. Rebecca, I don't know how you were able to make that picture from many smaller pictures, but it was really cool. When I quickly looked at it, I would only see the larger picture. I then focused on the picture and hundreds of little pictures began to pop up. That picture was playing mind games with my head. Maria, you seem to have a very close relationship with your sister. I can relate to this because my brother and I are also very close. Erin, hearing the story for a second time was just as exciting as the first time. I can't wait until you are done writing your book, I am sure it will be awesome. Overall, great job and congratulations!

Hey guys,

Not only were you able to incorporate amazing technology with a intriguing topic, your connections were interesting and brought about many questions that brought about many answers, depending on a person's perspective. I thought that the opening of the presentation was extremely creative and something that almost everyone in the room was able to relate to. I especially enjoyed the decorations around the room, Rebecca's personal included. To be the first group to go and set the expectations for everyone else must have taken tons of courage and determination. Not only did you manage to set the bar, you all managed to set it extremely high and make it difficult for anyone else to match you. From now on, I will trust all of you with any secrets! Job well done, and awesome website!

CONGRATULATIONS!!
Your experimental was amazing, and even though it was two weeks ago, I still remember it perfectly! First of all, I have to commend you all on being the first ones to present. That takes a lot of courage, and you truly set a high bar for the rest of us to follow up. Off the bat, with the introduction video of all of you mysteriously coming in and out of doors in the hallway, you had the audience paying full attention. I especially liked that video because it incorporated your topic, but in a fun, exciting way. Also, I really liked how it was done in the hallway of our own school, sort of showing that even in an environment like school there are secrets everywhere. Your statement of intention was exactly what I think of about secrets: do secrets truly define who we are? We all know that they play a vital role in our lives, but is that necessarily bad? Or is sometimes keeping a secret a good thing? You showed me that although secrets sometimes shouldn't be kept, they are important in our lives because they allow us to keep things to ourselves and set our own goals. I could tell that you all learned so much from doing this project and that your outlooks on secrets, like mine, are altered forever.
I have to say that my absolute favorite part of the presentation was the secrets that were posted in the back. I loved how you incorporated the audience into this by giving them an envelope.
"When I buy myself things, I always ask the attendent to wrap it up so that when I go home I can open it." ...that wasn't exactly how the secret went, but I thought that this one was sweet and simple, but at the same time something that was kept a secret. It reminded me that no matter how foolish or simple something may seem to others, the only important thing is that it is important to me.

Overall, great job!! You all should feel extremely proud of yourselves.

Maria, Erin, & Rebecca,
It was no secret that your presentation was outstanding! You guys were amazing. Honestly, I was so scared for you since you were the very first to go! I almost felt a little nervous sitting there as an audience member, meanwhile I couldn’t even imagine how nervous you guys felt!! But going first definitely had its advantages- you had it over with way before most groups. I was so impressed! Your topic was definitely a cool one and very original. Maria, your personal was so sweet, a tribute to your sister! I think it is so cute how close you guys are! In my experimental, we asked students in the hallway who their biggest influence is, and your sister said you! So it is definitely obvious that you guys are as close as it seems, and share secrets with each other. Erin, you’re an outstanding writer! I can’t believe you’re in the midst of writing a NOVEL! That’s crazy!! (Good crazy!!) The passage you read from your artifacts fiction story sounded like an excerpt from a published work of literature. It definitely showed a different side of erin than most of us are used to seeing everyday; I loved it! Rebecca, your photo was sooooo cool! I think everyone took a long time just trying to think of how you possibly made that! I loved how all the small pictures were taken by you, and formed the on big picture. I too love photography, so I especially appreciated the fact that you created this awesome, giant photo.
The way you connected math to secrecy with the formula Maria demonstrated was so well thought out and complex. Maria, you were so confident in doing this formula in front of an audience. That impressed me! I would’ve messed something up!
I thought that the secrecy in religion that you discussed was so interesting. In almost every religion, there is an element of secrecy. Confession in Catholicism is the perfect example, being that the priest is sworn to secrecy.
Your experimental was an amazing way to start off the season!! Great job! It was well worth all the hard work and effort!!!

Rebecca, Erin, and Maria -
I have to give you props for kicking off in this experimental season. You really set the bar very high. I really liked how you started your experimental with Mike Lituchy playing Dirty Little Secret by the All American Rejects. He is quite talented. My favorite subtopic that you explained was camouflage. The video with the octopus camouflaging against the kelp really helped me to visualize your point. Rebecca - I loved your photographic mosaic. It represented secrecy and your skill and enjoyment of photography at the most advanced level. Erin - it was nice to finally hear your “artifacts fiction” story. I have heard so much about it and hope to read more. From what I have heard so far, it is amazing and you should continue to work on it . Maria - I have two sisters and it is nice to see the great relationship that you have with your sisters. You all did a great job!

Great Job and Congratulations on not only finishing, but being the first one done! You set a very high bar for the entire Experimental Season. Your presentation was well balanced between the actual factual and humanities. Using Michael as a part of your experimental was an excellent way to integrate your music into your presentation. Being a kid in a family of Bond fans, I highly enjoyed your espionage montage and your take on spies filmed at Wheatley. The Post Secrets decorating the room were funny and interesting. Rebecca, you are a great artist overall, and created a unique personal that looks amazing. Maria, I enjoyed your personal about you and Isabella. Erin, you have no idea how much I love your Artifacts Fiction story that you used for your personal. Overall, a great job and a great first experimental.

Dear Erin, Rebecca, and Maria,
Great job guys. I commend you for going first and leading the way for the 2011 experimentals. You set the standard very high, so we'll see what happens with the remaining projects. Overall I liked how you presented the information. It was clean, simple, and the powerpoint did not distract viewers from your speaking. Starting off with the spy videos was an interesting way to get the audience into the mood. I liked the usage of spies to convey secrecy and discretion. Your personal movie and the movie clips really drove the point home. I did feel that the personals were lacking, however. I liked each of your ideas, but felt that you could have developed it more fully. I thought Rebecca's photo was incredible, and I wish that I knew more about it. I would have liked to hear what phots you used, and how exactly it all came together. Erin's story was amazing and I was fortunate enough to hear the entire thing in class. The way you cut off really left the rest of the story a secret, one that I'm sure all of the audience wanted to know. In the end, it was a great presentation. All of your hard work has paid off.

Erin, Rebecca, and Maria:

My chem, golf, and Model UN buddies, I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing your experimental was. The opening secret handshake skit and Michael’s musical performance was an amazing way to jumpstart your presentation. It was truly brave of you guys to go first, and leave a watermark for everybody else. Your presentation was extremely well put together. I loved how it flowed with the different pictures and images. The decorations around the room really added life to the presentation. Secrecy was a great topic to do especially because its something we can all relate with- everyone has their secrets. The topic of espionage was truly amazing-I really loved the James Bond clip. Another aspect that I loved was how much music you girls incorporated into your presentation, you had a number of famous titles and some great videos. I really liked when you interviewed Mr. Orlovsky. His response was extremely well thought out and deep and he made a great point. Composers do often have other motives crafted within their pieces. I also appreciated how you guys put in the part where the bass section (Katie and I) played our “G” note perfectly. It meant a lot.

The personals you guys did were extremely touching and emotional. Maria’s personal about her little sister was great because the bond of sister -to -sister can never be replicated. Another thing about her personal was that it applied to my life. Also, having a younger sibling, my brother Ansh, really helped me understand the bond you have with Isabella. Erin’s and Rebecca’s personal were both marvelous, also. I really liked how Erin revealed her “dark, secretive side” with her story about Bahar. It seems so much unlike Erin! Rebecca’s personal was really cool how she took all those tiny pictures and made them into one great picture. Overall, your entire experimental was truly magnificent and I would love to someday be able to do something like that.
