TV shows keep a secret going throughout the season, in order to keep those watching coming back for more. Movies often use secrets to trick the villains or heroes. In art, sometimes the mystery behind the artists intentions keep us guessing as to what they were truly trying to portray. Secrets in literature serve as a similar concept, compelling us to read the entire novel. Media exhibits secrecy in our everyday lives due to the fact that the media surrounds us in our everyday lives. We feel the need to seek out the secrets in media, for the knowledge they hold.
