Music
Music can be interpreted in many different ways and there is no clear cut message to most pieces. The composers real intent and meaning is often hidden from us. While we can give our own interpretations, we can never really know the thought behind the piece,originally intended by its composer. A piece can be an analogy or metaphor as well. The listener has to go beyond the obvious meaning of the song to find a deeper and more fulfilling interpretation. When a musician is performing the piece, they also must look for the deeper meaning. When they find it the piece can be performed with more emotion, therefore making it easier to connect to the audience. When an artist is truly in touch with the music they are playing, they perform at their best.
